What the hell is Whip It Out Comedy?

A website. A production company. A way of life.

What am I reading/watching?

Funny stuff written/produced by people who are funny for a living.

Why is it called Whip It Out?

Why not?

There’s actually two versions of the answer to this question. The first, is that "Whip It Out" is a reference to a desperate move pulled by many a teenage boy who has yet to develop a smoother way to offer himself up to a lady he is interested in. Often times, this young man will resort to “whipping it out” in an effort to see where he stands with said lady. Approximately 9 out of every 10 times this move is attempted, it fails miserably. But once in a while, it actually works. And when it does, it’s a beautiful thing.

This site was named after that move because Whip It Out Comedy is intended to celebrate comedians who are not afraid to whip it out, so to speak, and take chances in their approach to making people laugh. What they try doesn’t always work, but when it does, it’s a beautiful thing.

The other explanation of our site name is that we couldn’t think of anything better that was available as a domain name. Feel free to believe whichever answer you choose.

How can I be a part of the Whip It Out experience?

Well, if you are funny – and we mean, funny on purpose, not just because people happen to laugh at you – then you can contribute to the site by giving us material to post. Send your submissions to us at the cleverly named whipitoutcomedy@yahoo.com.

If you are not funny, then you can only be a part of the Whip It Out experience by reading all the stuff that the funny people have contributed for you. Think of it as the world’s greatest consolation prize.

Who runs Whip It Out Comedy?

If we told you that, we’d have to kill you. Let’s just say it’s a collective effort which is growing more collective by the day.

Why does the site look like shit?

Where do these videos come from?

Some we find, some we make. It’s pretty much the same way celebrity couples get babies nowadays.
